Postage & Handling Policies

At From Kasia, we strive to make your shopping experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible—right down to the delivery of your order! Here’s everything you need to know about our postage and handling:

Shipping Times & Processing

We aim to process and ship your order as quickly as possible, typically within 10 business days of the stock range. Please note, this may vary depending on order volume and peak seasons. We’ll keep you in the loop every step of the way with tracking details, so you know exactly when your order is on its way to you!

If you need your order sooner, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

We offer express shipping options where available to help meet your deadlines.

Lead Times

While I don’t have set lead times for every order, I always recommend confirming your orders well in advance to ensure everything runs smoothly and to avoid any potential disappointments.

Planning ahead is the key to securing your desired items, especially since I only have a limited number of slots available each week based on my production schedule.

Once those spots are filled, I’m unable to accept additional orders, so booking early is the best way to guarantee your items are ready in time for your event! I want to make sure you get exactly what you need, so don’t hesitate to reach out early to reserve your place in the schedule.

Custom orders allow up to a minimum 4 weeks.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and the size/weight of your order. You’ll see the final shipping price during checkout before you confirm your order. For custom cake toppers, we offer a flat rate shipping option so that this is easier for you. 

We do not make profit on shipping costs and always aim to provide only the price we are given, this also means that a lot of the time we underquote the parcel price & are hit with more fees from Australia Post. We do not pass these fees on to the customer as the price you pay at checkout/invoice is all that you are required to pay.

Shipping Carrier

For all Australia wide postage options we ONLY use Australia Post because we know how reliable they are with sending & receiving. This although falls at a higher rate than using places such as Sendle. We know that by using Australia Post you will receive your parcel and if there are any issues with delivery that they are easily contactable.

SYDNEY SIDERS! We also have an option which can be quoted on to use a private courier - Express Drop Off who privately delivers items Sydney wide. This is a better option if you have a very large, multiple box order or need something getting too close to your event or need it on your event date if a weekend.

She does need to be booked in prior, so this is a limited service if leaving it last minute.

Packaging

We take great care in packaging your items to ensure they arrive safely and looking fabulous! All orders are packaged securely using eco-friendly materials to protect your products during transit. We try to use as little packaging as possible while still ensuring everything arrives in perfect condition. You can read more about our packaging options and sustainability here.

Delivery Times

While we always aim for speedy deliveries, shipping times can vary depending on your location and the delivery service. Once your order is shipped, delivery times are generally:

  • Standard shipping: 5-10 business days

  • Express shipping: 2-5 business days (for Sydney I have personally found they can come the next day).

Please note, these are estimates and actual delivery times may vary due to factors such as carrier delays, public holidays, or weather disruptions.

Delivery times are out of our control and once these are posted we are no longer responsible for any delays there may be.

International Shipping

Whilst we would love to ship all over the world, unfortunately the costs associated with this are too high to offer on a frequent basis. We can offer a customised quote with shipping but this shipping cost will be at the expense of the customer.

I also have a large crafter friends list I can recommend someone close by to you that can complete the work locally.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number so you can follow your package’s journey to your door. We want you to know exactly when your goodies will arrive! This can all be tracked through Australia Post.

Missed Deliveries & Returns

If you miss your delivery, you will need to contact Australia Post to either organise a re-delivery or pick up from your local post office. We are not responsible for how Australia Post organises their deliveries / times.

 

Return to Sender (RTS)

If your parcel is returned to us as undeliverable (e.g., missed delivery, incorrect address), we are happy to arrange reshipment. In most cases, a reshipping fee will apply unless the issue was caused by our error. Refunds are not provided for incomplete or incorrect addresses.

Missing or Incomplete Orders

If items are missing from your order, please contact us within 3 days of receipt, and we will ship the missing items to you at no additional cost.

Damages and Issues

We want to make sure you're completely happy with your order, so please inspect your items as soon as they arrive! If you notice any damage, defects, or if you've received the wrong item, don’t hesitate to reach out to us right away so we can resolve the issue and make things right.

​

If your items are damaged during transit, please keep all the original packaging and the damaged items. You may be asked to take them to your local post office for damage assessment. Unfortunately, we’re unable to process a refund until this step has been completed.

​

In the rare case that we’ve agreed to issue a refund, please note that the refund will not include any postage fees.

​

To begin a return, simply contact us, and if your return is approved, we’ll provide you with instructions on how and where to send the package. Please make sure to request a return first—items sent back without prior approval won’t be accepted.

​
